Hello!
We’re halfway through February and I’m already looking forward to Spring!
The group forum on Linkedin has been quite busy this week. Forum members, Alvin Perez, Ted L. Simon, Patricio Fuentes, Jean Ritchie, and Mark Prus have posted discussions, just to name a few. Be sure to check out Jason Percy’s request for good books on brand management and Yael Miller’s creative vanity barcodes, as well as Christopher Durham’s thoughts on name brands, knock-offs and Jim Cramer.
We’d also like to welcome our newest contributor to the website. Jeannie Chan comes to us from Lawrence, Kansas, where she works in brand management for a large CPG company. This week Jeannie shares her thoughts on branding lessons from the Olympic Games. In addition to Jeannie’s post, be sure to take a look at the link to forum member Marc Gobé’s updated bestselling book, Emotional Branding.
Review the backgrounds of all current contributors under the “about” section of the website. Links their site posts, Linkedin profiles and individual websites or blogs are available.
In addition to these writers, the forum is actively recruiting new contributors. If you would like to be considered as a contributor to the site, please send an email to editor@cpgbranding.com. Be sure to include your name, company’s name and contact information with your email, as well as a description of how you would like to contribute to our community. I hope you will join us!
